Description
SymAtlas is a web-application for publishing experimental gene functionalization datasets integrated with a flexibly searchable gene-centric database of public and proprietary annotations [1]. SymAtlas is built on top of SymGene. SymGene is the gene-centric database and functions as the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation's Genomics Warehouse. Together with a custom-written EJB tier it is the platform for all gene-annotation centric applications.
