Scientific snippets

Chrul et al. (2006, PMID:17047292) demonstrated that stimulation of NK cells by a mixture of IL-12 and IL-18 caused a significant increase in KIR2DL1+ and KIR2DL2+ NK cells but not in KIR3DL2+ cells, while stimulation with IL-2 increased the frequency of all three subsets.
